Copy Before Design. Always.

Why I write the words before I open a design tool, the homepage outline I use, and the prompt that interviews you and drafts it.

A code by Jenn Miranda. Comment COPY on any @jadele.ai post and it comes to your DMs.

When AI website tools came out, I tested them the fun way first. Design first. Pretty… and it could have been anybody's website. So I flipped it. Words first. THEN design around them.

The homepage outline

Headline

What you do and who it's for, in under ten words.

Subheadline

The result they get, in one sentence.

Three short sections

The three things a visitor needs to know before they say yes.

Proof

Your work, your reviews, your story.

One button

The single next step, used everywhere on the page.

The homepage interview
Interview me about my business, one question at a time: who it's for, what they worry about, and what makes me different. Then write my homepage copy: a headline, a subheadline, three short sections, and a button label.

Your website should be your hardest working employee. Give it something great to say.
